In partnership with The Whale Museum, San Juan School District, Friday Harbor Labs, and the San Juan Islands Visitors Bureau.
It’s not too late to register!
Registration will be open Wednesday, July 9th, from noon - 3:00 p.m. and on Thursday, July 10th, and Friday, July 11th from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
The registration table will be at Friday Harbor Middle School, 85 Blair Avenue, Friday Harbor, WA 98250. Upon getting off the ferry, turn right on Front Street, left on Spring Street, right on 2nd Street and left on Blair Avenue. The school will be on your right. There is plenty of parking at the Middle School.
Come in, register, drop off auction items and, if you are bringing a display for Sea Faire, set it up at this time, too. You must register and have your name tag before attending the Wednesday evening event!
What to Bring
NAME is providing mugs, cloth napkins and bags).
- auction items (This is how we raise our mini-grant funds.)
- black & white garb for auction night (see below)
- your own water bottle
- field trip essentials (sunscreen, hiking boots, etc.)
- dancing shoes!

Bringing your kids to San Juan Island?
Your kids, ages five to nine, can attend a Pod Nod at The Whale Museum while you enjoy the presentation by Jim Lynch and the dance on Friday evening. Pod Nods are overnight marine learning adventures, supervised by Whale Museum educators, that feature games, songs, crafts, science projects and a flashlight tour of the exhibit hall. Advanced registration is required. To enroll your young marine educator in a Pod Nod, please contact Cindy Hansen at 360.378.4710 ext. 23.
