Mark Luckenbach

Mark Luckenbach is a Professor of Marine Science at the College of William & Mary and the Director of the Virginia Institute of Marine Science’s Eastern Shore Laboratory. His research in marine ecology includes restoration ecology of native oyster reefs, ecology of the Asian oyster species and interactions between shellfish aquaculture and the environment. He has over 25 years experience working on the ecology of shallow marine environments and their interactions with shellfish aquaculture.
