DESCRIPTION:The Crab Team will be giving a class at Sound Waters 2016\, a one day university hosted by Sound Water Stewards (formerly Island County Beach Watchers) titled “Eyes on the Beach\, Boots in the Mud: On the lookout for invasive European green crab in Puget Sound.“  \nWe will present on how European green crabs (Carcinus maenas) threaten the productive and diverse saltmarsh and pocket estuaries of Puget Sound\, and what can be done about it.
