DESCRIPTION:Opening Day marks the start of the Seattle boating season. The Seattle Yacht Club sponsors a boat parade through the Montlake Cut. This year’s theme is ‘A Great Escape’. The parade can be viewed from the shoreline at Portage Bay and Montlake Cut or from vessels moored in the designated anchorage areas. \nFor more information visit the Seattle Yacht Club website. \nThe event will be preceded by the University of Washington’s 30th Annual Windermere Cup Crew Regatta. \n
