DESCRIPTION:The symposium brings together scientists working in the South Puget Sound ecosystem\, including the watersheds that surround the marine waters. The Symposium is open to a wide variety of topics that address the following questions: What is the emerging science to help inform recovery\, restoration or protection efforts? What are the trends\, what is the status and what does this tell us about the ecosystem condition? \nPotential topics for symposium sessions and posters: \n\n2015 Drought\nThe ocean’s warm water blob\nLand cover change analysis\nStormwater remediation\nEarly marine survival of salmon\nForage fish monitoring\nSouth Sound subsidence & earthquakes\nSea level rise\n\nThe Symposium will charge a nominal registration fee\, and registration will open in July 2016. \n
