DESCRIPTION:WASHINGTON COAST SEA LEVEL RISE WORKSHOP \nSOLD OUT!  \nPlease contact Nicole Faghin if you would like to be added to the wait list for this event at faghin@uw.edu \nThe Shoreline and Coastal Planners Group invite you to attend a free workshop on Sea Level Rise Projections for Washington on February 6\, 2019 in Grays Harbor\, WA. \nOn July 31\, Washington Sea Grant and the Climate Impacts Group produced sea level rise projections for 171 locations in Washington State. At this workshop\, we will present and discuss findings from the NOAA-funded Washington Coastal Resilience Project\, including the new sea level rise projections\, how to apply the information in decision making using the Sea Level Rise information. \nWorkshop participants will learn about and discuss: \n-New Washington State probabilistic sea level rise projections \n-Factors to consider when using choosing projections for plans\, policies and projects \n-How to communicate about sea level rise including use of sea level rise maps for understanding and communicating risk \nMeeting Time:\nRegistration: 9:30 a.m.\, Meeting 10:00 a.m. until 4 p.m. \n*Please register in advance by filling out RSVP at the top of the page* \nLocation:\nGrays Harbor College\nRoom 4134 A+B\n1620 Edward P.
