DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\nRobert Shirkey\, Toronto-based lawyer\, TEDx presenter\, and founder of environmental non-profit Our Horizon\, will be discussing the psychology\, economics\, and law behind his organization’s proposal to have cities require climate change information labels on gas pump nozzles. \n\n\n\n\nThe concept has been endorsed by some of the world’s top climate scientists and is now being pursued by several cities in North America. Recently\, Seattle City Council voted to support San Francisco’s initiative to put climate change “warming” labels on gas pumps\, and was featured on the front page of the Seattle Times. \nCome hear Robert speak about why this idea has been primed to go global and what you can do to help. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
