SUMMARY:Shoreline restoration monitoring: Bainbridge
DESCRIPTION:This is a great opportunity to get in involved in citizen science and learn first hand about shoreline restoration efforts in the Puget Sound. Volunteers are needed to collect data that monitors shoreline restoration progress on the Powel Property on north Bainbridge Island. Monitoring activities will consist of collecting physical profiles of the environment and plant/critter densities and collecting additional data that complement a region-wide University of Washington research project and continue to contribute valuable information to our understanding of the Powel restoration. \nFor more information on volunteering contact Jeff Adams jaws@uw.edu \nFor more info on the project you can download the Bainbridge Restoration Factsheet. \n
