DESCRIPTION:Join us for Salish Sea Expeditions’ 9th Annual Patrons of Discovery Breakfast. \nSalish is proud to welcome Washington State Senator Christine Rolfes (23rd District) and Washington State Representative Gael Tarleton (36th District) as our keynote speakers\, in conversation with our Master of Ceremonies Bob Donegan\, President of Ivar’s. \nWhere: Bell Harbor International Conference Center\n2211 Alaskan Way\, Pier 66\, Seattle \nThis inspirational hour-long event will showcase the importance of hands-on learning on the Salish Sea\, one of our region’s most treasured natural resources and a vital economic engine. Attendees will learn about the recent work done by Salish educators to ignite a passion for science and maritime in middle and high school students from our region and beyond. As an organization we aspire to create a generation of critical thinkers who will collaborate to solve society’s hardest problems. \nThis free event is a great opportunity to learn about hands-on marine education taking place right here on the Puget Sound.
