DESCRIPTION:The RainWise Program\, a unique partnership between City of Seattle and King County Wastewater Treatment Division\, provides rebates for eligible homes and other private properties that help manage the rain that falls on the roof. Capturing rainfall in cisterns and rain gardens keeps that water out of sewer pipes during heavy storms and helps limit runoff and control sewer overflows. \nWhile the large majority of the 2\,000+ existing projects are at private homes\, a growing number are located at “big roof” sites.
