SUMMARY:Sea Safety and Survival (Drill Instructor) Training in Westport
DESCRIPTION:Washington Sea Grant is sponsoring a one-day Sea Safety and Survival (Drill Instructor) Course for commercial fishermen and charter boat operators. \nThis Coast Guard-approved workshop meets the training requirements of the Commercial Fishing Safety Act to conduct drills. Coursework combines lecture and hand-on experience with the safety and survival equipment currently required for commercial fishing vessels. Participants will learn about emergency procedures and will be trained to develop appropriate emergency drills for their own vessels. \nWhen:\nFriday\, June 17\, 2022\n8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. \nWhere:\nMcCausland Hall at the Westport Maritime Museum\n2201 Westhaven Drive\nWestport\, WA \nCost: $100.
