DESCRIPTION:Washington Sea Grant and the Port of Bellingham are cosponsoring a Sea Safety and Survival Course (Drill Instructor) for commercial fishermen. \nThis Coast Guard-approved workshop meets the training requirements of the Commercial Fishing Safety Act to conduct drills. Coursework combines lecture and hands-on experience with the safety and survival equipment now required for commercial fishing vessels. DESCRIPTION:This event is offered to returning monitors of the Crab Team network. Each site is asked to send at least one representative to attend these trainings that include topical deep-dives\, enrichment activities\, and the distribution of bait and replacement gear for the year ahead. Monitors will be sent an email with instructions on how to RSVP for a Refresher Session of their choice. \n  \nSign me up! We have a need for new volunteers at sites in San Juan County.
