During the winter monitoring months\, the lowest tides are during nighttime which adds an adventurous twist to our monitoring procedures. Hence\, the need for a headlamp. SUMMARY:Leque\, Fir\, and Camano Island Bird Walk
DESCRIPTION:Seattle Audubon Society invites you to join in a birding expedition with winter waterfowl and raptors in mind. Leque Island has reopened after restoration to return the area to a salt marsh after 100 years of farm diking. We will see how the habitat has changed and how the wildlife have responded. We will then drive north to walk the previously restored similar habitats on Fir Island- Wiley Road and Hayton Reserve. \n  \nSaturday\, January 11\, 2020\, 8:00am – 5:00pm \nCarpool costs of $50 per car are shared by riders. \nLimit: 10 participants.
