(Wooden Open & One Design) Regatta\, honoring the best-known name in wooden boatbuilding and yachting in the Pacific Northwest. Norman C. Blanchard’s Blanchard Boat Company turned out more than 2\,000 boats in 60+ years during the past century. Quality\, performance and longevity are the hallmarks of Norm Blanchard. \nThe Norm Blanchard W.O.O.D. Regatta is open to ALL wooden boats – from El Toros to large racer cruisers. DESCRIPTION:*NOTICE: This workshop is postponed and being rescheduled for September 2020. Registered participants and faculty will be contacted by Centrum for final determinations\, further information and refund options. \nWater World (Grades 5-6)\, a dynamic collaboration between Centrum and the Port Townsend Marine Science Center\, is filled with activities and projects that expand and enhance elementary students’ experience of the marine world through the lenses of both science and art. In collaboration with artists\, scientists\, and peers from across the state\, students integrate scientific investigations with creative writing\, dance\, and visual art.
