SUMMARY:Mercer Slough Nature Park Bird Walk
DESCRIPTION:Come explore the Eastside at Lake Washington’s largest freshwater wetland with Seattle Audubon! We’ll descend a short but steep hillside into the slough\, and then walk around the Bellefields Loop Trail. As we search the woods\, channel\, and blueberry farm for birds\, there will be an emphasis on listening for bird sounds. Binoculars will come in handy\, but scopes are not needed. Birders of all levels and ages are welcome. DESCRIPTION:Join Seattle Audubon for a beginner’s Bird Walk among the trees of the Arboretum and along the shores of Union Bay. Larry enjoys pointing out the various species and often provides distinguishing photos for illustration. DESCRIPTION:Join Harbor WildWatch for an underwater journey of Gig Harbor Bay without getting wet (or needing special certification) through the Pier Into the Night experience. While you stay warm and dry on the dock\, our divers use an underwater video camera to live stream exactly what they encounter below the surface.
