SUMMARY:Tide’s Out: Manager Leadership Summit / Marea Baja: Cumbre de Liderazgo para Gerentes
DESCRIPTION:Update 3/3/26: We’ve re-opened registration until the end of the week (or until all spots are filled). Sign up if you are still hoping to get a spot!\nAdvance registration is strongly recommended. \nShellfish aquaculture is central to rural coastal communities\, but many companies have struggled in recent years to recruit and retain a steady workforce to sustain the industry. In response\, Washington Sea Grant created Tide’s Out\, a FREE two-part training program for the next generation of the aquaculture industry workforce. \nThe FREE 3-day Manager Leadership Summit in Ilwaco\, WA aims to equip employers with best practices and resources for employee retention\, safety and well-being. Participation is open to any current or aspiring owner\, manager or supervisor in the aquaculture or seafood industry. Resources are available to support English language learners.  \nPlease contact Nicole Naar\, Social Science and Education Specialist (nanaar@uw.edu or 530-760-8073) for more information. \n
