DESCRIPTION:This year\, we’re bringing on a small number of new volunteers to meet targeted needs of sites within our current 55-site network. No prior experience is necessary\, but all participants must be at least 16 years old. \nWe invite you to read about what it’s like to be Boots in the Mud with Crab Team. To find out if an opportunity to join a site team might be available near you\, check out this site map\, which details which teams need new volunteers this season. Consider whether you would be able to travel to the site two consecutive days each month during the April through September monitoring season. \nIf all of this sounds good\, we would love to hear from you. Please fill out this brief Interest Form and make sure to hit the “submit” button when you’re finished. We’ll review submissions on a rolling basis and let you know whether we will be able to bring you into our virtual new volunteer training workshops in March. We invite you to fill out our interest form whether or not there are sites near you\, as it will help us bring interested folks like you into our network in the future! \n
