Marine Wiring Workshop in Port Hadlock

Commercial fishermen and recreational boaters:  learn to safely wire your boats

Washington Sea Grant, WSU Jefferson County Extension and the Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding are co-sponsoring a marine wiring workshop for commercial fishermen and recreational boaters.

The Marine Wiring workshop is designed for boat owners who want to upgrade their vessels’ electrical systems. Topics covered include safe wiring practices, selecting wire sizes, circuit breaker and fuse ratings, cable routing and labeling, shore power circuits, battery charging circuits, corrosion protection circuits, engine instrument systems and troubleshooting.
