Publications

Washington Sea Grant produces publications covering a diverse array of subjects and uses: From the technical, which advance the state of knowledge about important issues in our state, to the popular, which helps Washingtonians to sustain and enjoy our wonderful marine resources.

Technical documents cover the latest scientific research on topics including seabird bycatch mitigation, aquatic invasive species, and shellfish aquaculture. Popular publications focus on subjects such as aquatic species ID cards, safe shellfish gathering, and water quality on land and in marine waters.

Our newsletter, Sea Star (available online and in print), provides readers a snapshot of contemporary activities in research, outreach, and education.

We invite you to peruse the galleries of our publications (use the menus to the left). If you do not find what you are seeking on this site, please contact us.
