Explore Your Local Beach: Kingston Ferry Terminal Beach

Join local naturalists out on the beach to observe the unique creatures that call the intertidal zone home. You’ll learn about invertebrates, tides, shoreline geology, birds, and how to identify these things on the beach.
These 60-90 minute low tide beach explorations are suitable for all ages. Boots or close-toed shoes are recommended.

North of ferry dock – Some 2-hr free parking is available in the lower lot next to the marina and in the public park landward of the ferry loading lot.
