Molt Search Volunteer Training (Skagit County)
June 15 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
Washington Sea Grant and Washington State University Extension have teamed up to launch a new volunteer-based early detection program to complement the existing Crab Team monitoring network. This event is a 2-hour workshop where you will learn how to identify crab molts, where and how to conduct a timed Molt Search survey, how report your findings using the MyCoast mobile app, and optionally how to collect additional data on Dungeness crab molts. Program partners from Padilla Bay NERR, Northwest Straits Commission and Skagit MRC are hosting this training.
