The Whatcom Watersheds Information Network in association with multiple sponsors is hosting the 2017 Baker to Bay Symposium at the Ferndale Event Center. This two-day event will bring together stakeholders, managers, governments, businesses, community members, and scientists to share information about ecosystem recovery actions in Whatcom County in a manner that combines and coordinates data/research with community interests and needs.

Day 1 will focus on “Community Perspectives, Challenges, and Solutions.” The event is designed for a general audience and will feature talks on “Who We Are”, “What is Our Effect on the Ecosystem”, and “What are We Doing to Reconcile Human and Ecosystem Needs”. Posters and exhibitors will supplement the presentations followed by a special evening networking event showcasing short local films and appetizers.

Register for the entire event or either day. Sign up early to reserve your space. Lunch and morning refreshments are included with your registration.
