Carkeek Park Bird Walk
February 8, 2020 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
Join Seattle Audubon for a morning birding excursion! Winter is the best time of the year to observe seabirds on the Puget Sound, and we will spend much of our winter walks on the beach observing birds on the Sound and around the mouth of Pipers Creek, which often attracts large groups of gulls and waterfowl. We may also walk some of the forest paths. Participants should be ready for potentially cold, wet, and/or windy conditions. You are encouraged to bring your own scopes, guides, and binoculars.
