Climate Conversations with Stream Team

Cathy Raley, a wildlife biologist for the U.S. Forest Service, Pacific Northwest Research Station will be giving a talk on wolverines. Since 2006, Cathy has been studying the distribution and ecology of wolverines in the northern Cascade Range in Washington and British Columbia.
Wolverines have specialized habitat needs, living where there is persistent spring snow covered areas throughout the year and avoiding areas with warmer temperatures to prevent thermal stress. Learn about the distribution of wolverines in WA and the challenges they face.
