Sea to Soil: Building Resilience for a Healthy Island. COHORT Workshop
Join WSU Extension, VashonBePrepared, and Vashon Nature Center for an event sponsored by the Coastal Hazards Organizational Resilience Team (COHORT). This series of workshops designed to help Island residents build climate resilience at home and contribute to a more self-sufficient, sustainable Island community. Workshops are held on the following topics:
May 2, 2025 – Stewarding Your Land for Salmon and Climate Resilience, presented by Vashon Nature Center Open House
May 9, 2025 – Gardening in a Changing Climate, presented by WSU King County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers
May 16, 2025 – The Relationship between Food Sovereignty, Food Preservation & Emergency Preparedness, presented by WSU Extension
