Sea to Soil: Building Resilience for a Healthy Island. COHORT Workshop
Join WSU Extension, VashonBePrepared, and Vashon Nature Center for an event sponsored by the Coastal Hazards Organizational Resilience Team (COHORT) for a series of workshops designed to help Island residents build climate resilience at home and contribute to a more self-sufficient, sustainable Island community. Workshops are held on the following topics:
May 2, 2025 – Stewarding Your Land for Salmon and Climate Resilience, presented by Vashon Nature Center Open House
May 9, 2025 – Gardening in a Changing Climate, presented by WSU King County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers
May 16, 2025 – The Relationship between Food Sovereignty, Food Preservation & Emergency Preparedness, presented by WSU Extension
