Explore Your Local Beach: Shine Tidelands State Park

Join local naturalists out on the beach to observe the unique creatures that call the intertidal zone home. You’ll learn about invertebrates, tides, shoreline geology, birds, and how to identify these things on the beach.

These 60-90 minute low tide beach explorations are suitable for all ages. Boots or close-toed shoes are recommended.

June 15 – 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
July 16 – 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
August 11 – 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Shine Tidelands State Park
On the northwest side of the Hood Canal Bridge.
Discover Pass required.
