Heaven on the Half Shell – Coos Bay, OR

A former science writer for Washington Sea Grant in Seattle, David George Gordon is a co-author of Heaven on the Half Shell: The Story of the Oyster in the Pacific Northwest, revised and updated by University of Washington Press. He has written 22 books on topics ranging from slugs and snails to cockroaches, sharks, gray whales and the Sasquatch. As author of The Eat-A-Bug Cookbook, he has appeared on The Late, Late Show with James Corden, Late Night With Conan O’Brien and The View.
