Marine Hydraulics Workshop – Fishermen’s Terminal

Washington Sea Grant and the Port of Seattle Fishermen’s Terminal are co-sponsoring a Marine Hydraulics Workshop for commercial fishermen and recreational boaters in Seattle.

Topics covered include:

• The pros and cons of hydraulic systems
• Hydraulic fluids, maintenance, and filtration
• Pipes, hoses, and fittings
• Machinery-cylinders, pumps, and motors
• Types of valves: relief, directional, flow control, proportional, and pilot-operated
• Making a system
