Get involved in inland Washington’s invasive European green crab detection and juvenile Dungeness crab data gathering with “Molt Search”, a new community science project by Washington Sea Grant’s Crab Team and Washington State University Extension.

You’ll leave this 2-hour virtual training, offered via Zoom, knowledgable on the status of European green crab in Washington and what you can do about it. We’ll cover specifics on how to identify crab molts, how to conduct a 20-minute Molt Search survey, and how report your findings using the MyCoast mobile app.
