Northwest Fisheries Science Center’s 5th Science Symposium

Our partner in regional science, NOAA’s Northwest Fisheries Science Center, will host the 5th annual Science Symposium, a two-day event to showcase fisheries and ecosystem science and to foster collaboration among scientists.

WSG Social Scientist, Melissa Poe, will present results from a recent community-based project with the Squaxin Island Tribe to assess socio-cultural vulnerabilities of ocean acidification in a panel on ecosystem science on Day 2 at 9:20 a.m. More information about the array of science programing can be found at http://www.nwfsc.noaa.gov/news/events/symposia/about_symposium5.cfm.
