Preview of the 2020 Eastern Bering Sea Pollock Stock Assessment

The University of Washington School of Aquatic and Fishery Sciences and the College of the Environment invite you to attend a preview of the most recent assessment of Eastern Bering Sea (EBS) pollock—the target of one of the world’s largest fisheries. The purpose of this forum is to provide fishery stakeholders and the public the opportunity to learn about the status of the EBS pollock stock and discuss the science underlying the assessment.
Dr. Jim Ianelli, NOAA Fisheries Alaska Fisheries Science Center (AFSC) scientist and SAFS affiliate professor, will present the EBS pollock assessment model and the most recent trends in the EBS pollock stock.
