Community-Driven Climate Resilience Projects Along the Lower Columbia River
Presented by Jackson Blalock, Marine & Estuarine Resilience Program Manager at Pacific Conservation District and Catherine Corbett, Chief Scientist at Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership
From 2021-24, workshops and related discussions identified local priorities, issues, and ideas for resilience to changing water levels along Baker Bay and Grays Bay. Catherine Corbett (Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership) and Jackson Blalock (Pacific Conservation District) will share the origins, methods, and outcomes of this work which advanced projects that address current and future issues related to sea level rise.
