Washington Seaweed Knowledge Symposium
Our symposium steering committee has carefully designed a program that reflects the diverse knowledge and perspectives of Washington seaweed constituents and includes time for open dialogue amongst participants.
The program will cover Ecosystem Interactions, Aquaculture Science, Farming Objectives, and Human Dimensions. Presenters and panelists will explore water quality, genetics, Indigenous perspectives, conservation and recovery, regulatory concerns, co-cultivation, and seaweed farming objectives, from carbon capture to food production.
