Learn the skills to lead safety drills on commercial fishing vessels in a Coast Guard-approved course. Washington Sea Grant and the Port of Bellingham are cosponsoring a Drill Instructor Course for commercial fishermen. This Coast Guard-approved course meets the training requirements of the Commercial Fishing Safety Act to conduct drills. Crew School
"Crew School" is designed to provide fundamental commercial fishing crew member training; in the classroom, aboard commercial fishing vessels and in the historic Ancich Netshed on Gig Harbor’s waterfront.
