On Saturday, November 14, the Pacific Science Center is hosting Energy Day. The Elwha Research Consortium (ERC) has announced its the 3rd Elwha River Science Symposium. This meeting will be held on November 18 – 20, 2015 on the Campus of NatureBridge Olympic National Park, near Lake Crescent. This will be the first symposium following full dam removal of both Elwha River dams. The theme of this year’s symposium will focus upon the scientific lessons we have learned about physical processes and ecosystem responses to dam removal. For the first time since the dam removal, the Elwha Research Consortium and Peninsula College will host a special public event highlighting researchers and their scientific works since the removal of the Elwha River dams. Wild Seafood Exchange each year brings independent West Coast commercial fishermen together with their customers: the chefs, retailers and commercial fish buyers to whom they market their catch. Wild Seafood Exchange is the fishing industry's longest running wild seafood marketing conference.
