CANCELED: Iverson Spit Preserve Walk
Join the Friends of Camano Island Parks for a walk at Iverson Spit. Iverson Spit is accessed from East Camano Drive via Russell Road east to Sunrise road then south to Iverson Beach Road. Follow Iverson Beach Road east down to the beach area and drive north to the end. Come to The Center for Wooden Boats at Cama Beach for their annual Mother’s Day Saturday Sail. Dive into the wonderful world of spineless critters in the Padilla Bay estuary. From microscopic plankton to foot-long California cucumbers, invertebrates offer amazing diversity and curious life histories.
