Winter Fishtival
As the holiday season nears, so does one of Seattle Aquarium's largest annual special events—Winter Fishtival! Join us for hands-on activities, special talks and opportunities to learn more about the care and feeding of the Aquarium’s fish, birds, tide pool animals and marine mammals. Each day we’ll highlight a different sea animal and activity, including a special performance of Octonauts: To Your Stations on January 5 at 11am and 1pm. Enjoy the holidays with Port Townsend Marine Science Center's New Year's Eve Wildlife Cruise. A PTMSC naturalist will provide enlightening commentary on both the history of Protection Island and the sea birds and marine life that make the island their home. Pier Into the Night
Join Harbor WildWatch for an underwater journey of Gig Harbor Bay without getting wet (or needing special certification) through the Pier Into the Night experience. While you stay warm and dry on the dock, our divers use an underwater video camera to live stream exactly what they encounter below the surface. Puget Soundkeeper needs your help each week as we paddle through Lake Union and remove trash from the water while keeping an eye out for other pollution violations. Volunteers will be in double kayaks outfitted with trash bags, grabbers, and nets for scooping debris from the water.
