Marine debris is a serious problem, but you can help! Join in the largest world-wide volunteer effort to protect the ocean. All ages can take part in the cleanup at Seahurst Park, add found items to our Salmon Trash Sculpture and access resources in the Environmental Science Center. Island County Marine Resources Committee is holding a free workshop, “Sea Level Rise in Island County,” from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 28, in the Vista/Madrona Fire Station, 273 N.
