Grays Harbor Shorebird and Nature Festival
Celebrating the natural world and the spring shorebird migration! Hosted by the Grays Harbor National Wildlife Refuge, this festival celebrates the thousands of shorebirds that stop along the Washington coast and in Grays Harbor during their migration northward. Washington Sea Grant and the Alaska Marine Safety Education Association (AMSEA) are cosponsoring a Sea Safety and Survival Course (Drill Instructor) for commercial fishermen. This Coast Guard-approved workshop meets the training requirements of the Commercial Fishing Safety Act to conduct drills. Coursework combines lecture and hands-on experience with the safety and survival equipment now required for commercial fishing vessels.
