First Aid Workshop in Gig Harbor, April 6

Learn how to be safe on the water!

Washington Sea Grant and the Gig Harbor BoatShop are co-sponsoring a Coast Guard-approved First Aid at Sea course on April 6, 2017 in Gig Harbor.

Topics covered include CPR, patient assessment, hypothermia, cold water, near drowning, shock, trauma, burns, fractures, choking, immobilization and essentials for first aid kits.

When:     Thursday, April 6, 2017, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Where:   Gig Harbor BoatShop, Eddon Boat Park, 3805 Harborview Drive, Gig Harbor, WA

Fee:       $100 ($50 for commercial fishermen)
