Learn the skills to become a drill instructor on commercial fishing vessels
Washington Sea Grant and the Gig Harbor Boat Shop are cosponsoring a Sea Safety and Survival course for commercial fishermen.
This Coast Guard-approved workshop meets the training requirements of the Commercial Fishing Safety Act to conduct drills. Coursework combines lectures and hands-on experience with the safety and survival equipment that is now required for commercial fishing vessels.
