Marine Hydraulics Workshop at Fishermen’s Terminal
Washington Sea Grant and the Port of Seattle Fishermen’s Terminal are co-sponsoring a Marine Hydraulics Workshop for commercial fishermen and recreational boaters in Seattle.
Topics covered include:
- The pros and cons of hydraulic systems
- Hydraulic fluids, maintenance, and filtration
- Pipes, hoses, and fittings
- Machinery-cylinders, pumps, and motors
- Types of valves: relief, directional, flow control, proportional, and pilot-operated
- Making a system
