Hood Canal Group Seeks Fixes for Outdated Septic Systems The Lower Hood Canal Watershed Coalition (LHCWC) will meet Monday, November 6 to discuss the need to replace cesspool and seepage pit-type septic systems in the area. These systems use outdated technology and provide minimal wastewater treatment, which puts Hood Canal water quality and shellfish beds at risk.
