The Fishermen's Fall Festival celebrates the return of the North Pacific fishing fleet to the terminal, works to increase the public’s knowledge of the importance of the fishing industry as well as Fishermen’s Terminal to Seattle while raising money for the Seattle Fishermen's MemorialFoundation. This is an all-volunteer event that depends on over 200 volunteers for its success. The Festival provides families with a fun and educational outing on the waterfront as well as an opportunity to learn more about seafood.…

Washington Sea Grant, Port of Seattle Fishermen’s Terminal and the Deep Sea Fishermen’s Union are cosponsoring a Coast Guard-Approved First Aid at Sea Course on Friday, February 22, 2019 in the Nordby Room, Nordby Building, Fishermen’s Terminal. Topics covered include CPR, patient assessment, hypothermia, cold water, near drowning, shock, trauma, burns, fractures, choking, immobilization and assembling first aid kits.

Washington Sea Grant and the Port of Seattle Fishermen’s Terminal are co-sponsoring a Marine Wiring workshop at Fishermen’s Terminal for commercial fishermen and recreational boaters. The Marine Wiring workshop is designed for boat owners who want to upgrade their vessels’ electrical systems. Topics covered include safest wiring practices, selecting wire sizes, circuit breaker and fuse ratings, cable routing and labeling, shore power circuits, battery charging circuits, corrosion protection circuits, engine instrument systems and troubleshooting.
