Seattle Summer Cleanup Series: Lake Union Fireworks Cleanup
Join Puget Soundkeeper for the second cleanup of the Seattle Summer Cleanup, a series of events focused on removing thousands of pounds of debris from Seattle’s urban waters. On Friday, July 5th volunteers will be out in kayaks on Lake Union and in teams walking the surrounding neighborhoods of Wallingford, Eastlake and South Lake Union removing fireworks debris and other trash that might otherwise end up in our waterways. Lake Union Park Bird Walk
Join Seattle Audubon for a beginner’s bird walk along the SW shore of Lake Union. Good for close views of waterfowl through the winter months. Dress for winter weather. Afterward warm up by joining Dave for coffee at the MOHAI Café or explore the South Lake Union neighborhood.
