Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission’s Clean Vessel Program is considering expanding the service called Pumpout Washington to reach recreational boaters in the San Juan Islands. Pumpout Washington has scheduled two public meetings, the first on Orcas Island,  where San Juan Island residents and boaters who visit the islands are invited to share their suggestions about the best sites to deploy mobile pumpout boats.
