Wildlife Fire Preparedness Seminars
A series of Wildland Fire Preparedness Seminars designed to raise public awareness of beach fire hazards are being offered in North Kitsap in partnership with the Poulsbo Fire Department, North Kitsap Fire & Rescue, Poulsbo Historical Society and the Suquamish Tribe. The seminars include information on assessing homes and property for wildfire resistance and identifying neighborhood and beach safety strategies. Free Workshop: Learn how to get grants for your boating facility
Need funding to build or improve recreational boating facilities or for programs to promote boating? Want to market your facility as a certified Clean Marina? Learn how to access several state and federal grants that cover up to 75 percent of infrastructure and maintenance costs. The workshop will also discuss opportunities to leverage different grants to maximize funding. The cost is free.
