2018 Geohazards Symposium Living with Earth Hazards in Western Washington

The Association of Environmental and Engineering Geologists and the Northwest Geological Society will jointly host the 2018 symposium Living with Earth Hazards in Western Washington.  The symposium will take place at McCaw Hall, Seattle Center over three days:

PUBLIC DAY, SATURDAY February 17, Free registration

– Morning session:  8:30am to 12:00 noon
– Afternoon session:  1:00pm to 4:30pm
>>  Note: Morning and Afternoon public sessions are identical
Come learn about the geologic hazards of your neighborhood and how you can protect your family and property.  Hear talks about our geologic hazards and reducing risk.  Visit informational booths.  Interact with computer mapping stations for exploring geologic hazards in your neighborhood.  Speak with the experts.  Open to the public with no-fee registration.
