First Aid at Sea Workshop for Commercial Fishermen and Recreational Boaters

Effectively treat hypothermia, near drowning and other accidents while on the water.
Washington Sea Grant and Gig Harbor BoatShop at Eddon Boatyard are cosponsoring a Coast Guard-Approved First Aid at Sea workshop in Gig Harbor.
Topics covered include:
- CPR
- Patient assessment
- Hypothermia and cold water response
- Near drowning
- Shock and trauma
- Burns and fractures
- Choking and patient immobilization
- First Aid kits and other topics.
When: Monday, April 30, 2018 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Where: Gig Harbor BoatShop at Eddon Boatyard 3805 Harborview Dr.
Gig Harbor, Washington
Fee: $100 ($50 for commercial fishermen)
