Shoreline Monitoring Volunteer Opportunity

Volunteer to collect some shoreline profile data at the Powel property on Bainbridge Island. In 2012, the Powel family, who owns a small peninsula on the north end of Bainbridge Island, removed 1/3 of a mile of bulkheads. Before and since, Washington Sea Grant has been collecting physical profile data and sometimes biological data from 8 different profiles around the property to document erosion and habitat changes.
